SCHAFF POLICY . . . DEPENDABLE QUALITY AND SERVICE!
PROTECTION
Our catalog is distributed for the exclusive use of the Piano-Music Merchant and the Piano Technician.
We ask your cooperation in this protection by NOT REFERRING RETAIL CUSTOMERS DIRECT TO US.
TERMS
Open account:
Open account privileges are granted to customers who can meet satisfactory
requirements of at least three trade references and a bank reference. Our open account terms
are net 30 days.
Visa/Mastercard:
We store all credit card information on our secure database, unless
otherwise specified.
Cash Orders:
Include approximate postage and insurance with your remittance. Any balance
will be credited to your account or refunded if desired.
C.O.D. :
UPS currently charges an $11.00 per order processing fee.
MINIMUM BILLING:
A $20.00 minimum billing on merchandise applies to every order.
FOREIGN SHIPMENTS:
We are able to export our products to nearly every country
ROUTING OF SHIPMENTS:
Please be sure that your complete current address is on each order. United Parcel
Service makes a charge for address corrections. Such charges will be billed to the customer if we have not been properly
advised of the address change. Damage, concealed or otherwise, is the responsibility of the carrier. If concealed damage
is observed after accepting a shipment, contact the carrier immediately so that an inspection can be arranged. If damage
is observed when a shipment is offered for delivery note this fact on the receipt when signing for it. Damage claims must
be initiated by the consignee, but we will assist in any way possible in substantiating a claim.
INSURANCE:
The first $100.00 in order value is covered by UPS at no charge. Order values greater than $100.00 but
less than $300.00 incure an automatic $1.50 charge regardless of value. Currently $.55 per $100.00 is being charged for
insurance on values greater than $300.00.
PRICES:
Prices are not shown in this catalog. Please refer to our separate price list for net wholesale prices. We caution
you to check our current prices before bidding to your customers because our invoices will always be billed at up to date
prices.
ORDER PROCESSING:
Our normal service on stock merchandise is to ship within 24 hours after receipt of your order.
In many cases we can expedite your orders the same day. Phone orders all receive priority treatment and we solicit your
use of our 24 hour phone service.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
If you have any question relating to Custom Strings, Hammers, Bridges or Pin Blocks, Key
Recovering or special order merchandise, direct your inquiry to our Customer Service Representatives.
GUARANTEE:
We assure complete satisfaction at all times. We will replace or repair, at no charge, ANY item which
proves defective in material or workmanship within a reasonable time. When returning defective items, pack carefully,
insure and supply us with date of purchase and invoice number. There will be a restocking charge for merchandise
returned for credit through no fault of ours.
RETURNED GOODS:
Items returned for credit will be accepted if they are unused and in sellable condition, and if they
are received by us within 30 days of the date they were invoiced. In such cases the entire cost of outgoing and return
transportation must be borne by the customer. A restocking charge of 10% will be applied to returned items.
CUSTOMERS:
We value YOU and without YOU we would not be in business. Therefore, we are always anxious to know
in what way we can improve our relations. Your comments are always appreciated.
